The universe itself is quite cool it manages to be a familiar jRPG without ever feeling generic. Perhaps the single most addictive quality of Ys: Memories of Celceta revolves entirely around an ordinary old map. As with all Ys adventures, the main protagonist is fiery-haired swordsman Adol Christin. Graphics won't blow your mind (seems like a game that could be on PSP), but levels and characters are varied, colorful and interesting. It comes on the heels of 2010s Ys Seven for the PSP.
